Red Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tag

It is here, the Winter Coffee Lover's Bloghop 2016!  Those red and white Starbuck coffee cups are all the rage lately.  I jumped on the band wagon as well and got myself a few of those pretty cups.  And today I used one on my card for the hop.

My coffee up is stamp in white, heat emboss with white EP, then watercolor in red.  The cap is die cut from a piece of card stock covered in silver tape.

scramble card duet

Good Saturday morning,

I am hosting a Hero Arts Flickr Group scramble challenge today.  My theme:  Use Everything On a Stamp set.

I made two cards for the challenge, first up, I used Hero Arts Flower Garden by Lia.  I stamp and heat emboss the whole set then die cut a panel out as main element.  To finish off I added a vellum banner and embellished with a few clear sequins.

And for my second card, I used Hero Arts Stamp & Cut Birthday.  I stamp and cut the cnadle, layered cake and cake stand to put on the front of the card, and I stamp everything else in the inside of my card.  For the background I used Hero Arts Sweet Sprinkles Bold Print.

The Sweet Sprinkles Bold Print is really fun to use on birthday cards and any celebration related project.  Get yours at a2z Scrapbooking Supplies, use code Cindy15 to get 15% off any purchases $25 or over (excluding shipping). Remember there is a Mystery Box sale, $75 value for only $25.  You can use my promote code on it too.  How cool is that?!  Click Here to shop.

Vintage Christmas Post Tag Ornament

Welcome back to my blog.  It is December already!!  Wow!  I bet you're almost done with your Christmas cards, do you make homemade decor and things alike?

For the month of December, a2z Scrapbooking Supplies Blog's challenge theme is: Anything But a Card.

I like making home make ornament, and here's one I made using the Hero Arts Vintage Christmas Post Clear Stamp set and the Hero Arts Vintage Post Frame Cut.

I was intrigued after seeing Ilina Crouse's video on Mirror Stamping using the MISTI.   And I thought this technique would be perfect for my tag/ornament, because I want the backside to have the mirror image.

I started stamping the cardinal.  And it turned out well.

So I continue stamping the rest of the images I wanted, and die cut.  Note:  when die cutting the mirror image I place the stamped image on the window (image side facing out) so I could align the cutting die properly.   If you have a light box, this makes it even easier.  :)

So I got all my main components ready.

Next I clear embossed the birds to give them some shine.  Then glued everything together and embellished with some gems.  I know the cardinal I colored is male, but I thought the red bling flower looks good on it anyway!!  LOL  Lastly I tie red and white twine on top.

I really like this stamp set and matching frame cut.  Do you like?  Get yours at a2z Scrapbooking Supplies.  Use my code Cindy15 to get 15% off any purchase $25 or more (excluding shipping).  There is special deal going on right now, you could get free shipping.  Check the announcement section for details.

And remember to join in this month's challenge, and to hop over to the a2z blog to see the amazing projects my design team mates created.

30 Day Coloring Challenge - Day 26 - Pointillism

Happy Saturday everyone,

I completed a coloring image I started yesterday for Kathy's 30 Day Coloring Challenge Nov 1 - 30, 2016.

I was inspired by Kathy's colored dots (her project on Day 25) and used something called Pointillism.  Fun huh?

The image is called Flowers In Bottles from A Day For Daisies.  I used Copic markers for the 'points'.

A side note, there is a special Mystery Box sale on a2z, $75 value for only $25 dollars.  Check it out Here.

And to sweeten the pot, you could my my code Cindy15 towards purchasing the Mystery Box, get  15% off any purchases of $25 or more.  How cool is that.  Hurry in!!  ;)
